Choose The eVA Tools That Work For You

Shop Now - eVA’s eMall. Order from almost 1000 vendor catalogs, including hundreds of state and local contracts. The eMall supports workflow and approval functions to mirror your locality’s business rules.  Charge card purchases can also be processed and tracked in eVA.

Quick Quote - Create and submit informal electronic bids to registered vendors and receive electronic quote responses. This tool is used to quickly process small dollar purchases. For state agencies, the threshold for “small” purchases is $50,000. Local governments can apply their own small purchase rules setting limits above or below state guidelines.

VBO Electronic Posting and Delivery Buyers: Electronically post your bid openings, solicitation documents, bid meeting notes, addenda, award decisions, and all other information pertinent to your formal procurement. eVA works for you by automatically notifying vendors about your opportunity. This posting area is open to the public and can serve as your public bid announcement. eVA electronic posting lets you advertise solicitations, post awards and other information online. Vendors:  Electronic delivery (“push” technology) lets vendors receive solicitation notifications by email or fax.  Vendors may also choose to receive orders by e-mail, fax, cXML or EDI.

Vendor Registration - Captures vendor capabilities and contact information for electronic delivery of your solicitation notices, via email or fax, directly to vendors matching your specific need.  eVA also indicates vendor status as a Commonwealth certified small, woman-owned, or minority-owned business.

Purchasing Data Warehouse – Collects all purchasing transaction data and includes standard automated reports or customized queries for analysis of spending by commodity, time period, vendor, and many other “filters.”

Receiving - Supports desktop receiving, central receiving, or a combination of the two.

Data Sharing - provides for sharing vendor, order and other reference data between an existing financial or enterprise resource system (ERP) and eVA.  This sharing can be completed at the individual transaction level or in a batch mode for groups of transactions. Double data entry is not required.

Analytical Reporting - Robust reporting tools that allow creation, channeled distribution, and drill down capabilities for data in the Purchasing Data Warehouse.  eVA lets end users and managers evaluate spending, manage workloads, monitor end users’ buying, and identify cooperative procurement opportunities. Reports are available to help with the budget planning cycle.
